I’m Good Keeps Breaking explores equity and inclusivity as basic acts of choice and rights. The series is created to encourage inclusivity and a sensory experience of touch- by providing time to be present and have a quiet dialogue with your thoughts or with other people.
The series starts with single words and gestures in ASL, growing with phrases, braille, and glass as Stevie shifts and rises. As the phrases increase in length, the stoneware is abstracted to illustrate the phrases.
Holding the pieces as originally designed will result in your creating the associated words and phrases in ASL. Some concepts are also represented with braille.
